Meet the
Photographer
Hello! I’m Mika,
Photographer, Mama of 5, and fierce believer that every conversation, connection, and laugh is the start of a beautiful story.
When I was a teenager, slinging fries and making McFlurries at McDonald’s, I realized something: I had to learn Spanish. Not because it was required, not because a college admissions counselor told me I should, but because I desperately wanted to talk to the amazing Spanish-speaking women I worked with. So, I did what any determined (and slightly talkative) teenager would do—I learned. Slowly, awkwardly, and with a lot of rolled R’s in all the wrong places, I figured out enough to connect, laugh, and build friendships.
Fast forward to now, and that same unstoppable determination fuels everything I do as a photographer. Back then, I wanted to communicate—now, I want to create the most stunning, heartfelt portraits of the people you love the most. And just like I wouldn’t let a language barrier stand in my way, I won’t let anything—not grumpy husbands, unmotivated teens, or toddlers who suddenly forget how to behave—ruin a photoshoot. I’ve seen it all, and trust me, we’ll still create magic.
People often say that meeting me feels like reconnecting with an old friend. I take that as the highest compliment because, truly, I want every woman—no matter her background, story, or season of life—to feel comfortable, valued, and beautiful. Whether you're single, married, a mom through birth, adoption, or sheer force of will—whether you’re young, wise beyond your years, LGBTQ+, or rocking life in your own unique way—this is your space. A place where your love, your family, and your journey are honored through timeless, breathtaking portraits.
No matter what, I will deliver the most beautiful portraits of the people you cherish most—because you, and your story, deserve nothing less.
"A portrait session should feel like time with an old friend—full of connection, laughter, and those perfectly imperfect moments that make life unforgettable. And while yes, I am wearing a formal dress in these photos of me, I promise I won’t show up to your shoot like I’m heading to the Oscars… unless you want me to, of course. Then it’s game on…"

My Philosophy
I believe every portrait session is unique, and my approach is all about making that happen. By combining creative artistry with real, candid moments and a bit of humor, I strive to turn every image into something timeless, not just a photo. My focus is on capturing the true emotions, special details, and the joy that makes each mom and her family's journey so one-of-a-kind.
About the studio
Each moment, every little detail, and the emotions that shape your journey inspire my work. I craft a visual story that reflects the connections and love that make your family’s story one-of-a-kind.
Welcome to a space where elegance meets comfort. Even though it’s a commercial space, it feels warm and inviting, just like the memories we’ll create together. More than just a photographer, I’m a visual storyteller, dedicated to capturing the heart of motherhood through intimate maternity, family, and newborn photography.
Let's Create Memories Together
I know you're busy — probably juggling a million things already — and the idea of planning a photo session might feel like just one more thing on your plate. But here's the truth: it doesn't have to be stressful or time-consuming. You don’t need to have the perfect outfit, perfect hair, or perfect anything. I take care of the details — from styling guidance to helping your little ones feel at ease — so all you have to do is show up and love on your babies. These photos aren’t about perfection; they’re about preserving the beautiful, fleeting season you’re in. And you deserve to be in the frame too.
